what are NovaThreads?
NovaThreads is a non-surgical procedure designed to lift, tighten, firm and smooth your skin with immediate results. It’s often called a “lunchtime” procedure and can provide the instant lifting results on the cheek, brow, neck, jawline and more.
what are the different types of NovaThreads?
There are several types of threads used to lift, plump or smooth the skin:
- smooth threads are for superficial wrinkles and lines;
- volumizing, twist threads are for defining lip borders and diminishing deep wrinkles or folds, such as smile lines;
- lift threads contain small barbs to lift the skin up and returns it to its original natural position.

the NovaLift treatment creates a more dramatic result immediately with only one treatment. Think of the NovaLift treatment as a non-surgical facelift to treat areas of the face that begin to sag as you get older. PDO sutures that have “barbs” on the end are used, allowing them to grip the inside of the skin. The suture is then lifted in one or two directions, instantly repositioning the skin. In addition to skin rejuvenation, the threads also help to stimulate collagen growth, firming the skin and providing further long-lasting result for the treatment area.

what should I do to prepare for NovaThreads?
the most important part of preparing for NovaThreads is to stop taking any medications and supplements that thin the blood, as these hinder the healing process. Other than that, there is no preparation for NovaThreads.
is there downtime after NovaThreads?
there is little to no social or professional downtime after NoveThread injection. There is typically no need for more than an over-the-counter pain reliever. You may have some bruising and with a bit of makeup no one will ever know!
how long do results last from the NovaLift treatment?
results are immediately noticeable to you and continue to increase over the next few months as the body fully absorbs the threads. These results last between nine and 12 months.
