Do you have some extra fullness beneath your chin? Maybe you’ve had this your whole life, it developed over the years, or it’s something you noticed recently. This is called submental fullness, which some people refer to as “double chin. This can be caused by weight gain, genetics and/or aging. You don’t have to be overweight to have fullness under your chin. Sometimes, no matter how much you exercise or diet, the condition doesn’t go away.
what is Kybella?
Kybella is an FDA-approved injectable treatment used to improve the moderate to severe fat below the chin (submental fullness), also called “double chin.” The active ingredient in kybella is synthetic deoxycholic acid, a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat.
how does Kybella work?
when Kybella is injected into the fat beneath the chin it destroys fat cells permanently, giving you a noticeable reduction in fullness under the chin. The destroyed fat cells can no longer store or accumulate fat. The result is a noticeable reduction in fullness under your chin, showing off your new improved profile.

Dr. Tanne will create a tailored treatment plan based on your chin profile. Many patients experience visible results in 2 to 4 kybella treatments which are spaced at least 1 month apart.
