Isle of Jura 18 Year Old 70cl sercial Glenrothes is a delicious SpeysideSweet caramel, beeswax and then a cereal and oaky note on the nose. The palate is spicy with damson jam and nutty elements. Built in 1810, the distillery was originally very peaty very different from now. In the latter part of the Victorian era the distillery was rebuilt and then went to ruin, before the distillery was reopened in 1963.
